Swim Meet

my first swim meet of the season against berkley hills. i had 5 events: 100 yard freestyle relay, 25 yard backstroke, 25 yard freestyle, 25 yard breaststroke and the 100 yard medley relay. i missed a place ribbon by a fraction of a second and my teammate beat me, and i shaved off almost 8 seconds.

Swim Team

Last night (June 25) was my first swim meet of the season.  I swam in the 25 backstroke, 25 free, 4x25 free relay, and my first 50 free.  

I'm on the River Rats Swim Team.  To show team spirit we spray our hair green.  And, some of the girls draw rat noses with whiskers on their faces.  And people put white and green polka dots (rat pox) on their legs and arms.  

My relay team got 3rd in the event and I got 6th in the 50-yard free.

This is the 50 free when I touched.  I got 1st in my heat.  I found out about Michael Jackson dying while I was at the swim meet.   (Stenographers note:  CBT just corrected my grammar - I had a misplaced modifier.  Michael didn't die at the swim meet.)

Guest/Ghost Writer

My friend Traci from OH inspired me to hop over to CBT's blog to post him in action.  This was our third take of his dancing with the specific goal of getting a clip that could be posted.  It's taken me over a month to get it up.  My bad that you can't really hear the music...it really did add to the experience.

Hopefully, he'll forgive me for "ghost posting."

Monster CBT

I have been playing in Lightroom.  I have 13 eyes, 3 noses, 4 ears and 1 mouth.   I was having fun seeing how many body parts I could make. 

Baseball

In my first game of the season I played the Diamondbacks and hit an inside the park home-run when I was the first batter in the bottom of the first inning.  

I caught a pop fly.   

 

I never struck out, but we still lost 7-8.

 

On the way home I went to DQ.
